• These are wonderful and lively mid-sized tortoise for all first time reptile owners! They thrive in tropical climates so please provide sufficient humidity, heat, and UVB lighting. They are native to the sun tropical and tropical forests of Central and South America. They have mesmerizing shell colors and are very easy to care for. This species is named for the bright red coloration of their legs and head.
